My erupting volcano

Custom Glitter Text

Hi everyone this is a post about my resent sience experement…..an erupting volcano I made for homework!

To make the volcano I needed, 1 large funnel, news paper, pva clue or clag and paint and a bottle for the inside of the volcano. To make the eruption I needed, a small bit of  dish washing liquid, vinigar, baking soda, red food dye and warm water almost filled to the top of the bottle.

I made a volcano because at school we are learning about natural disasters and for home work we had to do a model of a natural diaster or a moving/active natural diaster model.

Here is some pictures of my volcano before I painted it and after I painted it.

This was a student blogging challenge task.

    G’day Isabelle,
What a great experiment. How did the eruption go? Did it ooze out and roll down the edges like magma does or did it explode up into the air to send out noxious gases?

Perhaps you could tell your readers more about the aftermath of the experiment and what you might do to improve on it next time.

    Hi Isabelle.
My name is Jaedyn. I once made a volcano out of sand and I made it erupt. We put baking soda and vinegar in it too. We were also learning about volcanoes at school. We all went out to the sand pit and made our volcanoes.
I have a blog of my own :http://learnwithme.global2.vic.edu.au/
